Nestled beneath the towering cliffs of southwestern Liurnia of the Lakes, the Village of the Albinaurics stands as one of Elden Ring's most atmospheric and lore-rich settlement locations. Hidden within eternal fog and darkness, this tragic settlement tells the somber tale of the artificial Albinauric race. Exploring its misty ruins yields essential quest items, unique equipment, and pivotal narrative encounters.

Finding the Village of the Albinaurics

To reach this gloomy village, players must venture into the vast swamp waters of southwestern Liurnia. Heading west from the Liurnia Lake Shore, you will eventually spot an incline leading upward into a cavernous recess beneath the plateau. Following the path past hung corpses and eerie fog will lead directly to the main Site of Grace inside the village.

Uncovering Albus and the Haligtree Medallion

One of the most critical secrets in the settlement involves an NPC named Albus, who is disguised as a large pot. Hitting or rolling into the suspicious container breaks the illusion and reveals the elder Albinauric. Speaking with him grants the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right), an imperative key item required to unlock the late-game Consecrated Snowfield region.

Confronting the Omenkiller Boss

At the highest point of the village, players will encounter a miniboss known as the Omenkiller. Guarded by aggressive stray dogs, this dual-cleaver boss uses heavy physical attacks and fire-breathing abilities. Defeating him rewards players with 4,900 Runes and the Crucible Knot Talisman.

Looting Key Items and Gear

Beyond its main questlines, the village contains several valuable treasures scattered across its ruins. Players can discover a Larval Tear behind the stone coffins, which is necessary for reallocating stats later in the journey. Crossing the wooden rope bridge past the village square also allows players to collect the Crystal Sword from a corpse near the edge of the cliff.
